Blame it on CHE.

Commission for Higher Education has been sleeping on the job. Period. They should have closed KIU long time.

Guys used to call KIU Kenyans In Uganda. Does it have a campus in Kenya or how does CHE share the blame? Funny that 30 out of 42 of its phd graduates are Kenyans. How does the Ug govt run? Why did they wait all this time to declare the uni isnt chartered?

That's one hell of a tragedy- think about all the degrees thats been churned from there all these years. But its a blunder that clueless fellows, just ambitious to pursue papers find themselves in. The accrediting authorities ought to be made accountable as they should have pointed that out long time ago.

Even more tragic is people who go through accredited programs, spend the whole time memorizing useless information and stealing exams and then they come out the other end but still can't think creatively or solve real world problems.

Hey Wazuans. Its not all the courses offered there. Only 42 (35 kenyan) are affected for a PhD programme. This issue also affected senior police officers who had applied for the IG of Police job.

Wazuans, stop been like the star who had reported that it was a Rift Valley based public university. Someone needs to close that media house.
