The greatest playwright Kenya has produced. A consummate dramatist and inspiring teacher. A real loss to Kenya and the World.

RIP Prof.

Prof, we'll live to celebrate your literary exploits. Your literary brilliance will forever remain etched in the minds of the young Kenyans who read your lit.

Personally, I owe you a vainglorious thank you for spotlighting the struggle between chauvinism and feminism, and the fading African values versus the advent of modernism in your works.

I absolutely loved your play, Aminata , and would live to tell the story to my children and grandchildren.

RIP Prof.

RIP Prof. You were in the league of literary Gurus like Chinua Achebe, Okot P'tek, Wole Soyinka, Ngugi wa Thiong'o, Taban lo Liyongo,Sadly for the nation, the scenario created many years ago in ''Betrayal in the City'' is still being played out today. The masses have learned little while the politician hasn't changed at all, hence the 'betrayal' continues.
