Ash I am not talking about getting stranded in Kalahari.
Let's say you are in that valley of death.

Your question is too general. Depends on the type of emergency, though best friend fits a lot of bills.

What made me come up with this is;
Was heading somewhere and one of the people in the list above, begged me to give him a call,just incase I gt stranded.
His words had that 'financial help tone'not like,he is a really caring person.smh.
I went saying in my heart 'You are the last person I would call if anything were to ever happen to me'.

So I began wondering if the first person on our minds when in trouble, is the one who really cares about us, or the person with the financial muscle to sort us out.

Hehe....you are sentimental @essyk ...the person you call is the one best suited to help you at the time. I blew my tyres once very late at night near yaya .....I called my best friend who gave me long stories ....in the end, it was a cab guy i knew who saved the day...i mentioned cash and he arrived in ten minutes flat. People dont have to like you to get you out of a tricky situation.

If you have a bad landlord or boss who's been wishing to get rid of your ass,will you call them up just cz they can??
You know they may have an evil grin on their face at the news.

As the story of good Samaritan teaches, you might not get help from the ones you expect.

Recently, a friend was in a tight spot and need little cash but it was that Sunday mpesa servers were down!

Anyway, help may come from where you expect the least. Pray and hope for the best.
