Guys had this hullabaloo when Ksh went spiraling down,
for the last 3 months the Rwf has moved from under 610 to dollar, to over 700Rwf to dollar. Will kigali still maintain its status as the business hub for EA or it will lose its mantle. Imagine you had tendered for a project three months ago and it goes through at this moment, will you manage to deliver? Can see kenyans streaming back

...This is almost 17% weakening against the dollar...The guy who is smiling here is the exporter...

The working kenyan who sends money regularly to kenya will curse ofcourse...

For contracts, any imported component is covered under the currency fluctuation compensation...Otherwise if the tenderer quoted the rates with small mark-ups he/she will be done for.
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...
