Guys, I was involved in an ugly car jacking incident on Dagoretti-Karen road last Sunday at about 5.pm. Fortunately i and my partner got away alive after cooperation.
it was a three hours ordeal and they later left us in forest and i overheard them saying they could use the car to highjack other people and then dump it.
Since then i have not traced my vehicle KBA 211 Q- Daihatsu Mira, silver in colour as such such i have lodged a claim to jubilee on the same.
Since the thugs were using our phones in communication,
-can safaricom give me information on the whereabouts when they made the last calls as that is where they could have dumped my car?
-Any other tips on what i could do to recover it as am attached too this car.
The details of the same has been circulated by police but i wonder how many police officers know how a daihatsu mira looks like, and it might be one of the cases where the car is recovered after several months.
Any advise is welcome.

I was on my way to Kikuyu and i wanted to use the bypass under construction and connect to Thogoto as it was still very early in the evening.
As there seemed to be people, around i alighted to stretch for several minutes only for a gang to appear and to order us to the nearby forest. The worst part of it is that it involved rape of the partner i had, but she is now recovering.
It happened at the bypass junction.
Right now i have bought a Mulika mwizi to survive, as i lost all the cash i had as they drove to Yaya center to withdraw the little i had in my atm.
Meanwhile guys i read your responses tomorrow as my phone can't access net.

I'm sorry for the ordeal especially to your partner...however I don't understand how you can stop and even alight to stretch for several minutes, unless you had driven for long, still why stop at the junction/roadside, you would have been safer at a restaurant

security ni mbaya hata mchana....pole sana

Pole but why do they do this things? they can't everything but why rape? Worst violation. You will recover and God will avenge you. Please do report to the police; and they will work safaricom and can trace then phone if they use different SIM cards. But you need to do this fast they might already taken the car to TZ.

Friends, where possible install a tracking device however inexpensive can help a great deal in tracking the criminals

Pole sana @githundi - wish you & your partner a quick recovery over the trauma.

Was involved in a carjacking about 3 years back, trauma after the ordeal was i couldn't walk at night without feeling like someone was trailing me Sad . Had been waylaid at the gate & think the watchie was in cahoots with the gang cuz he took long to open.

To y'all, use the bypasses (untarmacked) at your own peril esp. Southern bypass.
