The reality is that Africa's, and especially the Kenyan commercial landscape is largely in the hands of UK, USA etc. Until recently the two leading banks in Kenya were UK's BBK and StanChart. Large chunks of KCB and Equity Bank are now foreign owned. I wish it was different and that we had more local champions such as Dangote of Nigeria.

It would be great if you could offer alternatives.

And just how many indeginous Kenyan billionaires have these Uncle Sam's Multinationals created? Atleast Equity has the Mugukus and the Mwangis.

There is that smart girl breweing in Naivasha and giving Diegao (sp) sleepless nights. Perhaps you should give us the 411 on vacancies there.
