Anybody in TZ or has been there, who can point out a good lodge/hotel please?

requirements

-spacious,
-well aired and lit
-good fast internet WiFi,
-laptop projector onto screen
-accomodate approx.25 people.
-not top of the range or too shabby either.

>>Inclusive of a small excursion, game drive, or something interesting in Arusha area.
>>Kindly let me know what other interesting activities are there to keep professionals busy.

some hotels exist online only, not offline and some don't update their sites.

Thanks in advance.

About USD 250 per night smile

Also try Impala Hotel.

@Lorraine: Business stay or adventure (out to Mt. Meru or Mt. Kilimanjaro)?
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

Impala has lost its former glory. Was there a few months back and had to move down the street to Kibo Palace Hotel. About $90 per night plus they have excellent conference facilities.

Been to Ngurdoto Lodge. Enjoyed the serenity, silence and ambience. Food was pathetic, with rice looking like ugali.

@essyk: I'm told they are part of the Impala Group and have a new chef. You can do your business there, but eat in town!

Enjoy the A town, the Geneva of Africa!

Try Mt. Meru national park just past Ngurdoto.

If you miss nyamchom (they call it roast), try city park

To while away the evenings, try Via Via, Triple A, Maasai camp.

Hope you carried your yellow fever vaccination cards

In case you need any info on Arusha, just holla.

(Was there a few weeks ago)

Karibu sana.

The weather is fine but gets kinda chilly in the evening.

NB. all sentences should start with tafadhali/naomba and end with asante, dare use nataka/nipe and u will sleep hungry

Lovely.
But wish you hadn't told me that cz I like going against the norm for fun just to get a reaction.(as long as I don't break the law.
I will def.say 'Nipeeko parachichi na kachumbi.Laughing out loudly
and videotape the reaction.

Essy parachichi is strawberry. Whatever you do please don't touch Stereo Hotel in town. They never smile and the soap in the bathroom leaves you smelling like you've showered with sewerage water.
