a birdie has wispered to me that the new phone is locked onto safaricon network only. Can anyone confirm the same here? It is humiliating to be associated with thieves and murderers.

My biggest problem with the first one was the battery...charge couldnt lasta whole day especially if you surfed even for the shortest of moments or listened to 3-5 songs... possunt quia posse videntur

Is the alcatel one touch 918 also locked to safcom ? I like it even if its a low end wanna be android phone. And its unda 10k .
