I intended to register for member's internet banking and was advised, the charges are Ksh1,750 per annum and then Ksh 50 per transaction.

Roar has no fixed charge but only per transaction.

Thats crazy! They want to charge you for NOT going to use the bricks & mortar branches?

Internet banking should be free. There is really no value addition.

I remember some banks were charging for sms alerts just the other day. ABK

Where did you get that info from? because i have been using their e-banking service for over a year now,and i have not been charged Ksh 1,750 P.a charge. Though am charged transaction fee which initially was Kshs 30 until they hiked it to Ksh 50.

aCTUALLY THE charge is there at 1200 not 1750 plus 50 bob per tx
