I had a very nasty madaraka day experience at Pizza inn in buruburu this morning.I had a meal with a friend for about 45 minutes and on leaving found two tyres of my car had been deflated. I asked the askari who was standing nearby and he confirmed he had actualy done it coz i had overstayed!.I was tossed between the petrol station management and the restaurant, without much help.A sympathetic staffer of the eatery advised I call the security company (Lavington security guards)and a supervisor was sent to handle my issue, and arrived after two hours. well to cut a long story short,the supervisor confirmed the guard was only following instructions and they are in the process of introducing parking charges, but appologized for not having notices posted to advice customers accordingly. I couldnt help but wonder how they will handle guys driving in to fuel, since the parking is shared. When asked why they are employing such archaic methods of immobilizing vehicles, he answered 'management hawaja nunua clamps'.After three wasted hours, i licked my wounds and drove my car with two flats to the tyre pressure point.(I shudder to think what would have happened if the tyre pressure equipment werent working considering thats the only petrol station in buruburu that provides tyre service).

Education is good cz it teaches pple how to address situations professionally and amicably.

This watchie's manner of handling this was so shinyaluish and shikotish ,I wonder how he deals with issues at home.
That place doesnt even have parking so what are they talking about?

You privy to the watchie's education? You must have missed the part where the OP said that he/she was informed by the supervisor of Lavington Security Guards that the watchie was only following instructions.

@ WWJD I have picked this issue with the mgt of the petrol station; they acknowledge the problem but also say you were rude, disorderly and threatened the watchman.

@Thiongo, thanks.At one point ofcourse i got annoyed for being tossed around and told the watchman am going to the cops and will write to innscor head office. but then i had to inflate the tyres hence destroying the evidence. The petrol station management was helpfull to some extent but apparently have no control over the askaris. apparently the security company supervisor i dealt with yesterday called me this morning wanting to know why i made this post (may be he is a wazuan!).

Ok, your username is funny.

WWJD=What Would Jesus Do?

So what would Jesus have done had he been in your situation? Probably whipped them like he did in the temple or asked his Father to "forgive them for they did not know what they were doing"
