It is their obsession with sex talk that disgusts me.

The best mix of music leave alone those monotonous discussions.

The lady said OMG 13 times. 13 is an unlucky number that is why classic is getting the hefty fine.

People in broadcasting should sign a code of professional conduct,..and get barred from practicing if they violate it repeatedly. Or be charged with criminal negligence, like lawyers, or doctors. Personally facing jail time will deter people from spewing nonsense on air. Because, like proven in this case they are capable of causing emotional harm to a member or members of the public.

..Well i heard the clip that was doing rounds on the internet however for me the biggest issue is that these characters are not proffessionally trained to lead some of these discussions on air, Maina Kageni was a truck-driver in the UK (so he says any-ways- could be worse) few years later he is at the fore-front of understanding womens issues in-terms of relationships/sex etc and offering advice what non-sense is this and on what parameters is these done? (am telling you only in Kenya) its like ric-dees offering medical advice when you bring your child/spouse etc.

Now this other clown Shiku am bila words, no ability to think bout cause and effect/strategise and what training/school as she gone by the way? This is not entertainment please refer to your Oxford dictionary the meaning of entertainment? Or do a few coins in your pocket give you the mandate to walk with heads in the ground? What a rubbish set of people these folks are!!

....apparently he pays some of the presenters close to that amount per month, so as a fine this is peanuts and will not deter the station from engaging from the same in the future!!!

800k is cheap to these guys but.....and this is where the other fools who contribute to busted can do...

Sue them for mental anguish. That 800k is precedent. Instead of Kenyans buying land, they should probably get themselves good lawyers and get more of these 800k.

Actually I dare them, I double dare them to find me at Karumaindo in the hands of 3 langas. They will pay more than the 800k.

Seems like radio journalism is the only profession where any tom, dick and harry can just walk from the street and practice. And that's why the ethics have sunk so low because the radio host quacks are untrained and incompetent and thus are not even aware of any professional standards and ethics in their occupation. If an accountant needs a certificate (and membership to a professional body) to practice, same as a doctor, vet, engineer, architect, lawyer, teacher etc, why not radio journalists? That is why there is so much rot on radio, such as the quacks airing rotten sex shows at 8am in the morning, noon, and 3pm, in fact anytime day or night. The CCK, media council etc should do something about this sorry state of affairs.
