'Hacking computers' has been taken to be an evil thing. It is usually mouthed in the same line as 'pirating software'.
Then when proprietors of software accuse those who do not want to play by their rules of evil things, the mind of simpletons goes on to include hacking as part of the evil things.
But why do you want to do your stuff on the proprietors' terms?
You should be able to tweak your computer as you see fit without being bound by EULAs.
Have you ever noticed in the movies when the “super hacker,”— you know, the guy who can break into the ultra-secure military computer in under thirty seconds —sits down at the computer, he never touches a mouse?
But surely that is only the movies! It does not happen in real life, right? And why are you being presumptuous? Only IT super gurus from MIT and JKUAT can do it, us lowly people know nothing, right?
