Insurance Broker Business Partner

I'll keep it short. We are looking for a business partner to start an independent insurance brokerage. We wish to have someone who knows this business inside out as we won't be involved in the insurance part of the business. We are just going to do the marketing. Have you checked the Yellow Pages? They are in the hundreds listed there!! And if you are as good in marketing as you'd want us to believe, you shouldn't have any problem marketing your marketing services to them. You don't need to set up your own brokerage.

...unless you fall into the category of what I call "recreational marketers"; that is people who just know how to spend the principals money in many marketing activities that do not bring-in any meaningful sales.

sometimes i find wazua funny. i've once asked to sell a site here and was told i was a scam...it was sold. i've asked for a few business deals here and again i've been told not possible but went ahead and did it.....never once anyone come here to complain i scammed them/ on the contrary i've made very good business deals. Now chiaroscuro, who said i wanted anyone's principal or money? I just want someone doing this business to team up and work together. He does what he knows best, I do my part. Why that annoys you, I don't know. The fact that I don't wish to offer my marketing services to them should tell you how confident we are. We don't want you to pay us some money at the beginning of the month, we want to be in the business. Now if that does not fit your bill, then with all due respect, I wasn't looking for you. By the way, next time you open your mouth and say I'm scamming anyone, you had better have your name next to your post so that we can deal with you with open arms. On the serious side: @Gordon Gecko suggested that you link up with an existing insurance broker, and you said you don't know any. And you still insist that you need to be taken seriously? I wouldn't join hands with a marketer who doesn't know any company in the industry that he/she wants to venture into. Unless I did not understand what you meant by " Good idea.
