I have never understood why KPLC would need to advertise. What business sense is there other than introduction of new services or interruption of services. d'oh!

KPLC (or KP) needs to educate the public on prudence in use of P. I agree they've no business in advertising. We need to know the department within it that's doing the advertising so that we can restructure it! And I've never understood the choice of there new logo which seems to suggest use of incandescent lamps instead of energy savers.

Also agree that they should deploy more resources improving their services instead of wasting funds creating presence on t.v.

They do have competitors and threatening competitors... they aren't a pure monopoly. Though, my unsolicited advise would be for them to use the money to improve their services and make it hard for their competitors to penetrate.

They have to help their friends(or is it them by proxy) make money in the media so they advertise.
The only time you should be looking down on others is when you are helping them up.
