Extra Hot IPOs- Facebook's case.

How well is the facebook IPO projected to perform given the hype about it.

Should investors be excited about it? this given the fact that most tauted IPO's trade below their offering price.

Cases in point at the NSE IPOs/listing by introduction majority have traded consistently below the offering price and retail investors counted losses.
1.Safcom offering Kshs 5.00 now Kshs 3.20
2.TLC offering Kshs 60.00 now 26.00
3.Britak Kshs 9.00

should these offerings excite investors??

@QD, here's one expert's view of the Facebook IPO - he's basically saying that Facebook has gone the "dumb money" route.

Yep. Just look at the firm that listed just before the bubble popped. The hype then feels like now...
