Am currently sitting at a bar counter on this furahiday in nrb and there are about 40 of us thirsty souls at the counter (and about 500 in the pub). A quick look at the customer preferences (those at the counter) gives me the following data:
Whitecap - 60% (me included)
Tusker malt - 20%
Tusker lager - 15%
Viceroy - 2%
Smirrnoff vodka - 1%
Cellar cask Johannesberger sweet red wine/Grand cru . - 1%
Gilbeys Gin -1%
Pilsner - 0%
Guinness - 0%
Summit lager - 0%

Is it that customers have peculiar drinking habits on this side of town or they reflect the typical profiles of Eabl customers?

Must be the bar you are in. 500 people at this time of the month means you are in a hovel which have never been a reflection of the average Kenyan smile

can i bet there are no teens who think drinking gk is a symbol of masculinity na umang'aa....

That data reflects some uptown with guys drinking to catch up on business associates and not to crawl home...

Heck, i can see you typing on wazua...cheers!

To be precise am at Jambo Grill Thika Rd. Am not sure it would qualify as a 'hovel'......judging from the many premios and Prados in the parking (only 5% Proboxes out of 200 personal vehicles).

@chemos: agreed. Seems this batch took much longer in the fermentation chamber. Or is it because they used the 'choicest' barley and hops?

Update 2: My 'Mpango' (from USIU) has just ordered some 2 tots of Zappa blue. To my bewilderment, she has asked for a match, set the zappa alight and swallowed the flaming sambuca in one gulp. Seems I have a very interesting night ahead!
