She will not be the only one resigning inthe coming days several leading kenyan journalist have been poached by aljazeera and chinas CCTV who are setting up local/swahili stations I hear NTV will loose many of its leading anchors unless they match what the titans are offering.
'......to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.' Colossians 2:2-3

ergo there will be openings at local stations - I think its a good thing. Let them move on like Zain Verjeee did, etc...and allow more local talent to be cultivated. Some stations re-broadcast Al Jazeera and BBC - so - no harm done. I think she deserves it - very professional. I'd also like to see Nimrod Taabu move on - though it will be a gargantuan loss to Kiswahili broadcasts. Also John Allan Namu - I think in 3-4 years he will be bigger than jeff Koinange ever was at CNN... his head is well screwed on and he does not need a lorry to carry around his ego...

Jeff never needed a lorry when he was starting so don't bet on Namu. The guy who was and still is screwed on right is Warungu Mureithi (Joseph Warungu) ex-BBC who kept it real all through.

Allan Namu cannot much Njeff in any day of their journalism life.
Njeff is passionate about his job, while Allan Namu appears to be passionate.
