@Kafein;
The revenue numbers have always puzzled me.
Typical rate is one bob per minute.
If you operate from 8am to 6pm that is 10hrs per day.
Or 600 minutes per day.
Or Sh600 per comp per day.
But the assumption that the comp will be occupied all the time is unreasonable.
You will probably get somewhere around 25% utilisation on a good day...
This makes it an average of Sh150 per comp per day.
Or Sh4,500 per comp per month.
Now, what are your fixed costs?
RENT =?
INTERNET =?
ELECTRICITY =?
Now ask yourself, how many computers do you need to break even?
How long will it take before you can achieve the optimum 25% utilisation? [you know, businesses take time to get known and get accepted by customers]
If you ask me, you are probably better off starting a photocopy bureau... then add one comp for typing services.
BUT REMEMBER: location, location, location!!! Don't just go for the cheapest one that you can get.
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
