This guy is too optimistic even when there is nothing to be optimistic about.

Unfair criticism from your thread title, noting the man does nothing to claim or even suggest a comparison.

He strikes me as an accomplished trader in retirement. His story shows a gutsy self-made trader, brilliant yet introspective and humble, with a knack for reinventing himself.

Proud to be Kenyan, he loves agricultural stocks and currencies. The measure of the man...http://vibeweekly.com/newsite/i...-the-week&Itemid=458

No man is perfect, though.

is nt that setting the bar too high for Ally?

dont get me wrong, he is a brilliant guy but not in the oracle of omaha's league!! at least not yet, the guy is only 45, he ll be around for at least another 30 years

credit to the guy that started this thread, at least for once kenyans have people to look up to who earned their money (did not loot public coffers like most)

i bet so:you could start a thread: Ask Comrade Mono....about your stocks.

this way we will have less of the "i have 100,000 where do invest" threads

I have to give credit to the guy on his insight on stocks but what's his shareholding in the market? I'd rather Paul Wanderi or whatshisname be compared to WB.

It's all about the quality of decisions and fore-sight...that's what makes an Oracle, IMHO.
