T-Bills currently pay about 9%; the only tricky part is that they are sold at a discount. Thus you get your interest immediately and wait for the principle to mature in 3 / 6 months.
E.g., if you bought a 100k Bill, yesterday, you have to cough up sh97,803 and wait for your 100k in October. Will you have the courage to hold onto the sh2,197 for three months?
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
