Books closure

hey wazuans

what does Books closure mean in relation to dividends payment. if books closure is at 20th july and i bought my shares at 10th july do i get the dividends?

Yes, you get dividends coz you bought on or before 20th july

The last day to qualify for dividends is if you buy on 20th.

I wish we could post all pending book close dates here coz they at times get many pple un aware.

I once placed a purchase order close to books closure day and didnt follow up. the order went through after the date, you dont want to know the look on my face when i realised that. i wont mention the counter to save my image.
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'
