How far would we be in terms of security and Police Investigations


The two above Just won the 800Metres Championship selection trials at Nyayo Stadium. They are both Kenya Police Officers.

these two are individuals who put a lot of efforts..practise displine etc hence the positive results.

The Kenya Police is an Institution.what effort has society put to improve the institution.....close to zero..hence the results.
Hope is not a strategy

Of course Kenya would be a better place to live in.

Having said that, it must not be lost on us that a world of difference exists in the circumstances that an average police officer and the two individuals find themselves in.

The two atheletes were co-opted into the police force (now service) more on honorally basis i.e they werent looking for employment.

They dont live in cubicles shared between married and non married officers.
They dont live on a shoe string budget thanks to an hopelessly limited pay.

They..... you can go on and on.

I dont mean to say that the Police should be rogue, only that we must appreciate the difficult circumstances under which they serve.
We must endeavour to better the situation for them as we demand accountability on their part.

For your info you dont have to work very hard to win a race. It is 85% inborn ability the than the trainning will give you the rest, that is why you just mentioned people from the rift, each person should strive to archive and perfect what he/she is good at.
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

Thought of service instead of Money..am sure a kenyan police can lose a suspect to reach for that 100ksh note dropped on the ground.Going wit wat i saw the other day..These guys are all connected,and money hungry...frm corporal to OCwherever..once they handcuff u only money can undo the handcuffs

I heard Catherine Ndereba say that she does a 45km run every morning! If that is not hard work, I don't know what is!

Very true. It takes months of training, endurance and lots of road work to win a major race. These are people who dont waste their morning sleeping. By 6am they are busy either on road race or on serious drills. Most coaches insist no landings during the last few weeks to a major race, and will enrol the athlethes into a camp.

And someone says this is no hard work!!!?Shame on you
