Of course Kenya would be a better place to live in.
Having said that, it must not be lost on us that a world of difference exists in the circumstances that an average police officer and the two individuals find themselves in.
The two atheletes were co-opted into the police force (now service) more on honorally basis i.e they werent looking for employment.
They dont live in cubicles shared between married and non married officers.
They dont live on a shoe string budget thanks to an hopelessly limited pay.
They..... you can go on and on.
I dont mean to say that the Police should be rogue, only that we must appreciate the difficult circumstances under which they serve.
We must endeavour to better the situation for them as we demand accountability on their part.
