Of course the lower your rent the better for you; any day! As a rule however, if you are paying more than 20% of your net on rent, you are sacrificing your future. Once read this in some HABITAT journal that l cant trace immediately. Unfortunately, most of us contravene this ...... by varying degrees

...and I read that if you are spending more than 40% of your income on rent, then you are technically homeless!

Does this apply to 2-income household? i.e hus+wife...
