These TCL guys are really smart in playing with the market. They have released interesting East African Cables Half Year numbers. And they have given an interim dividend of KES 0.30

LoL- a naturrally analytical mind would ask if the Cable numbers are good to go. EA Cables has done its accounts, reviewed them et al in a record 13days. Mmmh

Thanks @ Sufficiently Philanga....thropic just saw it. But I saw someone in twitter recently musing about relationship between Dyer | Britak | HFCK | Equity | and now TCL.

Does this contribute to:
Bids 262,300 @ 51.00 against Asks 72,800 @ 59.50 ?

The trades so far:
9:58 _59.50_ 400 NORMAL
9:58 _59.50_ 700 NORMAL
9:58 _59.50_ 700 NORMAL
9:54 _60.00_ 10,000 NORMAL
9:51 _60.00_ 13,300 NORMAL
9:51 _60.00_ 15,400 NORMAL
9:51 _59.50_ 2,300 NORMAL
9:51 _60.00_ 4,000 NORMAL
9:51 _60.00_ 5,000 NORMAL
9:51 _60.00_ 10,000 NORMAL
9:50 _50.00_ 14,000 NORMAL
9:42 _50.00_ 17,000 NORMAL
9:41 _51.00_ 2,000 NORMAL
9:41 _50.00_ 2,900 NORMAL
9:41 _50.50_ 7,500 NORMAL

What about the p.e guys, 35! The fact that its trading at about 60, tells me one vital things. Just as bonus shares, rights issue cause and share to go down, no matter the company. In the same way, an ipo or introductuion will always go up, at least initially. You can sell a dead dog on n.s.e, as long as its an i.p.o.

With Cables churning out 900% growth in H1, expect TCL's Forward PE to considerably come down, perhaps to below 20 at a price of KES 50.
i think folks buying now are just buying into their future.
Personally,i've bought a few to sell when they release H1!
