...trading in a VW Beetle for two donkeys (complete with a cart) or one camel...

1 - Next week fuel prices go up.
2 - Traffic
3 - We insist on driving our cars in heavy traffic
4 - More Traffic
5 - Friday Traffic
6 - I have a burning desire to catch up with the energy minister in traffic and urge either animal to take a dump on his car. (Bonus hay if they can dry hump his car and blow their load on his windscreen). I'm sure he'll display the usual Risus sardonicus

Matatus will take advantage. Manufacturers will follow suit (well, they have, they will just reach vulgar levels). KPLC will help us re-discover how high our eye brows can go.

Meanwhile Wanjiku does not have much to insulate herself from rising costs. She will tighten her belt. She will buy less sugar in order to afford Kerosene. She will walk to the dispensary because she cannot afford the matatu fare and would rather spare that money for food later in the day...

Can we boycott ALL oil marketers?
Can we not cycle or walk to work?

Social media has been used elsewhere to bring about change - can we straighten up, from the bent-over-always-ready-to-be-screwed uniquely KENYAN posture and take the fight to them?
