Overall i'm impressed...it was an all round perfomance apart from increase in costs...they need to look at cutting costs...

The dividend will be abt 80 cents per share if you check on the difference in the retained earnings of last 2009 and 2010.
When you get the amount and get the difference with the profits you will get the amount of money set aside as dividends

sounds cool...have plenty of kenya re and it really hurts if they wont give me something...I think have been too patient with them...

@ ericsonn. You reasonin is quite hazadous and hilarious.Laughing out loudly. Have they explicitly stated dps ( dividend per share ) on the financial results.
They havent. And who tells u the difference in earnings will be used for dividends.it can also be retained.

From the statement they indicate what they paid last year is what they will pay this year...300,000,000/=. Fanya maths!!!!

Where are you getting 0.35/- from?
Kenya-Re has 600m shares and have allocated dividend of shs.300m.
So 0.50/-?
