The index is going down slowly but surely, with all factors coming into play(mdl east, ocampo,2012,inflation,oil etc) I think the risk is very high at the moment. It might be wise to jump off speculative buses, hold some cash and bury long termers.

I bet its also time to think about buying at the low prices though even the future is unpredictable with all this political stuff going on which is going to get worse in 2012.

Its my feeling that the nse will trap by force some of us inside becoz it now behaves like catching majority of us b4 we catch it,much as we would want to be liquid towards 2012,an early tumble will shutter your liquid dreams.should this trend continue,anyone getting out will be seriously injured...its though very hard to miss major rallies this year.when they come brethren & sistren leave like you are chased.

Yes its coming down, jumping off is subject to what was the entry level.. My thinking Ocampo issue if hurried now will save us from any 2012 issues due to fear of Hague, politicans will sober up.
MDL east issues will settle in two weeks after end of 42years regime. Others have little or no repacations. Only fear is on KSA which for now cant go that direction....

Its still very tricky to even jump off now, coz we are already down...down down.smile Me thinks we can just maintain our optimism n wait.

Jumping off now is not an option. Take that reduction in the value of your portfolios with a brave face. The fundamentals are still okay. Equity is now trading at 25! Good value there. Maintain your portfolios and invest all you have as time goes by even all your dividends. We are now living in interesting times. Nobody can claim to be in massive profit unless you got in 2009.

@Muthawamunene

If you are a Sadist, I must be evil incarnate. I want to see real blood on the streets.

It does not matter if the blood will be my own or yours, but I want the NSE to head South -- upto to the pole. In 2008, they screwed me right, left and centre, left me for dead and they went to party.

Am praying Ruto wont take the summons lying down. Ruto, fight and fight very hard.

Every dog has its day.
Go overdrive in purchasing the goods when there's blood on the streets, expecially if the blood is your own

Kengen is still playing @ PE ratio of 13. Better buy KPLC. current price of 21 is playing @ PE Ratio of 10.

These are the days. Coop is receiving a beating badly and we've not even heard of the goodies they carry. Capital retention (Cash or Long term).

The sweetness of a stock is not how long you stick to it but how quick you can make a return.

This is bad, and i cant see a relief in sight, I think that its time i dust myself and pick up the pieces and start bargain hunting. @Msupiuos, Optimism wont help, i suggest jumping off.

@Muthawamunene....Think
You want mboys to jump from a reversing bus like those who have alighted from Eq @ 25 & coop @ 18.85.Or you just want NSE to head south so you can GO OVERDRIVE WHEN THERE IS............

@surealligator come slow now. mdogo mdogo. Yes we lost more than stocks in '08. but habouring hate will only bring more anguish. Life will screw the perps in its own way. For now, lets scoop up what we can manage out of this madness.

if your portfolio has not lost more than 17% then sijui uko nse gani
