It's no longer challenging. The money is very good but I'm wasting away. What would you do?

BBI will solve it

Before you quit, be a little bit patient to enable you plan your exit.

Test run what you want to go into and see that it is working to your satisfaction so that you just quit to expand it (or them).

@Ceinz

Hakuna matata but I have seen several friends that quit their jobs in a haste and they are now regretting as they would have faired better with a little planning.

Often times patience pays for the sake of planning.

I am contributing to this topic because @2012 said the pay is good, so we are in the same shoes.

Take my case for example, I do not enjoy my job
even though the pay is very good and I was centering all my investment on stocks.

By staying a little bit longer on the stupid job I learnt about real estate as a good alternative, I need time and money to build up my real estate portfolio to a reasonable extent before I quit.

.
i need ONLY the money from the job to plan my exit, I do not care about promotion or office politics as my consolation is that my years in paid employment is numbered.

It is like happily serving a prison term !!!

i think that u will all agree with me that all/most employees are always planning on quiting from the time they are employed. surprisingly most of them retire/get retrenched with this plan in their minds. but i am impressed and salute the younger generation who have taken great strides and taken action. if u r sure of what u r going to do on ur own i would urge u to take the challenge and wish u all the best. N/b don't go back to ur former employer after quiting if things dont work out.

Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to.
