samsung products are expensive compared to sony. these two are japanese cos. while lg(formerly gold star) is korean. i think this is a nakumatt pricing.

My experience over this past xmas holidays. Do your window shopping at Nakumatt, collect all the details and specifications, and when you have settled on a make and model, do the purchasing at Luthuli Ave. Not any shop at Luthuli, but the ones owned by walalos.
I window shopped at Prestige, once I had settled on a 32' sony bx300, then retailing at 39k, went to Luthuli. At the asian shop with the best price I got a figure of 34k, at a mlalo shop I got 32k. I also got a wall bracket at 2.5k, an hdmi cable at 1.2k. These were 6k and 4k at anasuma kimathi street. Also ensure you buy made in Malaysia, not China. Btw, sony and samsung share the same engine, the difference in price is the cost of the brand name.
