Hey Wawazua!!

This could be an exciting year when such optimistic forecasts are being thrown around!!

I bumped into an analyst who was telling me that they are seeing KCB at 90 bob!!

I was like you are out your mind. Personally I think when KCB can make like 3 bob eps then we can see 60 bob in 2011/2012.

A 200% flipper from today kama Scan last year.

While some investors will see this as music in the ears, no we cannot even get to 40 by end of this year.

I don't expect earings to grow by such levels to support such a move.

I will sell that Analyst my shares today for future delivery for a mere 40/-... S/he can keep the 50/- profit...

LOL! hata mimi naona huyo jamaa - pinch of salt.

But I wonder why pple are so pessimistic on KCB yet it spent most of 2010 solving some of the problems we've been complaining about.

My rule of thumb on this stock esp. this year is improvement on the cost to income ratio.

That is the only thing that should make it a wealthy investment.

please change your analyst to avoid illusions in future.

HAHAHAHAHA....when i first read this thread i thought to myself "mmmmh !there are wazuas with very big imaginative capabilities".Laughing out loudly.Come on guyz which stock has ever tripled in a year !!!!!! Technically thats impossible maybe spiritually ( with all due respect)..But surelly u realise that this stock has a very very veeeeeeeeery veeeeeery high degree of liquidity so moving it as fast as some of you are thinking to 90.00 will take a whhooooooooole looooooooooot of time. You get my point..Look at it this way its like driving a 18 wheeler trailer...it will move veeeeeery veeeeeery veeeeeeery slowly but indeed it'll reach its destination..
Its like saying equity at 60's. IMPOSSIBLE..At best k.c.b shld be trading at 30's by years end..and for someone lik me with a boatload got at 18.50 its gonna be one hell of a ride.so buckle up !!!!!!!

@ Dave she explained that it was a matter of business cycles. I.e that KCB has spent alot expanding since 08 hence the high cost to income ratios circa 68% n so 2011 shld b a year to reap fruits n also the intentional push at S&L (which i believe mortgages r th future too). The valuation part wasn't clear but her investment case i tend to believe. Think Dtk's change to Dtb. Si sasa wanavuna! That's a stock i would avoid.basi ilisha go! KCB damu!

The mortgages push started mainly in the last quarter of the year. Maybe this year we'll see the full effect. The cost to income ratio is unlikely to reduce that drastically.

Ati QW. First you have not bought VVS his crate of Tusker - on the grounds that 103 is lower than 100.

what happens IF KCB gets to 91. Will it still not stand.
I am sure wife will not like to be up for sale.

Take care mate and keep making 70000 pw on forex trading.
