Bollore are being economical with the truth. In March 2018 Bollore partnered with SGR to fill a whole train with 108 TEUs.

Plus most taxes are going into a black hole.Like the 1.5% deduction for the housing scheme. You have better chances of buying a house by staking 1.5% of your salary on Sportpesa than contributing to that housing scheme.

Since then it has been a downward spiral. From electioneering period, skyrocketing debt, interest rate cap, and now low liquidity in the economy and taxes everywhere. Treasury mandarins keep chest-thumping that we're on the right course. It's sad really.

Agreed @Obiero... The barometer is corporate earnings at the NSE... Given by recent interim earnings reports... NSE companies are barely surviving... So which sector are these super richs being minted from? Real Estate? Banking? Aviation? The corruption sector of course... It's very lucrative... Take for example Kenya Power can report a loss yet some jamas in that financial year became super rich by selling faulty transformers lol .. A huge chunk of the Kenyan budget flows into individual pockets each year thus minting new millionaires... I say NSE companies because.. 1. Deep pockets 2. Talent 3. Corporate history 4. Super brands 5. Monopolies
