Now at a quarter of the 2017 high and falling on increasing volume... The main purpose of the stock market is to make fools of as many people as possible.

The average wazuan and most retail traders believe that there is only one way to make money by going long. This is false because you can use futures to profit from falling prices as well. You should make money whether the prices are rising or falling, as long as they are trending strongly in one direction. Personally, I don't care whether we are going to $500 or $50,000. Either way, I make money. The only thing that sucks is when the market moves sideways for long periods. A successful man is not he who gets the best, it is he who makes the best from what he gets.

To paraphrase Warren Buffet, shorting is illogical particularly because your possible loss is infinite. If you are long, your losses are capped at zero. If you are short, there is no cap on how high they price of your shorted investment can go.

The math is straightforward. What if you short Bitcoin and it hits 200,000? If you go long your max possible loss is like 6k. Is that equation too difficult to comprehend?

I follow a couple of chartists, close to 90% called 6k the bottom, others like @muststopmustard,@ToneVays,@woonomic etc maintain BTC will touch 3k,so far the minority have their calls spot on....Am no swing trader, however I don't mind good entry points,as such TA interests me to that extent.
