Its Muranga High School that was position 11 not the county.

Bush continues to outrage in its performance.

1. As I noted earlier the school produced more top 100 students - 22 in total - than the entire Nairobi County (16).

2. It should therefore not come as a surprise that the 10 best students @ Bush posted better grades than Nairobi's 10 best.

3. Haki ya Mungu! Every last one of the Kiambu's 10 best students came from.....ndio, mnajuwa tu!

4. Nikifanya uchunguzi nagundua kwamba the 10th best student @ Bush was still better than the BEST student from all but 10 counties.

Hawa vijana wapigiwe debe? Au magoti? La, lakini kofia nasema wavuliwe.

Nikiwauliza InnovateGuy, jguru, harrydre na wengine wowote, does anyone know what the mean score was? Wacha hiyo 81.something percent. Namaanisha kama ilipita 11.4? Nina hamu ya kujuwa (na pia nimeshangazwa) kwani sidhanii kuna shule ishawahi toboa kiwango kama hiki.

Yes, Alliance had a record mean of 11.45. Applause Unless miracles happen, it will take years before that record is broken.

In unrelated news, sometime last year( think it was June), I was doing some errands around Kikuyu. The boys were on their outing. What surprised me, ALL of them were in school uniform mpaka tie; not a single of them was in PE kits or some funny t-shirts. ALL of them had their shirts tucked! They walked in files of 2-7 boys. Lastly, not a single of them was misbehaving. I have never seen such discipline and level of maturity among teenagers. I was so impressed that I shared the experience on my Fb.

I have seen many schools breaking for their mid-terms and going for outings. The kind of misbehavior I witness is nothing to write about.

If behavior outside the school compound is an accurate indicator of the school's seriousness and dedication to studies, you haven't seen anything yet from these boys. They will continue to impress as we question the secrets to their good performance.

My friend, this is not a sleeping giant; this is a dead giant.Pray If you don't want your kid to become a drug peddler, a hardcore gangster, or a good for nothing adult in future, avoid at all costs. ION, Kyulu High School was the last in Mahakos county. I'm sure you've heard of their 'heroic' behavior(s) as well.

Hapana hi si Kavogo.Unfortunately he has not attempted to do anything about it.

Watoto wetu wamekunyua pombe mingi ile ya hivihivi, wakavuta phangi na wakaanza kupanda wanyama....very sad story.

Waliimu nao are busy looking for that extra coin so little attention to kids.

Also too many schools that are purely for commercial purpose not education of children.

Task force required to deal with matters education in the county.

True. This video was aired recently showing some very drunk students in Ruiru....you can never expect As from them.

Bwana InnovateGuy,

DAMN!

I knew all signs were towards an 11.4, but was thinking more along 11.38 - 11.42.

Think about what 11.45 means; they came this close, so close, to actually averaging an A!

Without the minus!

All right. Now I'll return to my regularly scheduled life. I am amazed enough.

Professor ali mazrui got a division 3 equivalent of a D, i guess. All i know is that this guy will do better than your sons who scored As. He already knows where and when the rain started beating him. your sons and daughers dont... never despise people. He may have been unwell when he sat for the exam.

Madam what is bad with me being suspicious of Maranda being cheat?

Or is it because I mentioned baba?

About my county it is indeed sad.And the worst is that it is happenning right under our watch. We have let go our kids and this is evidence from the results.

I shall seek audience with the Education officials.Anybody who wants to join me in this crusade? We must improve our children both in school and making them responsible kenyans in future.

...Kimabu county seems to have been so much preoccupied with death taxes and cemeteries at the expense of education. Did students give up hope and think that after all tutakufa hata tukisoma aje? Watu wa Kiambu mko wapi?
...Also I think climbing cows, goats, donkeys, rats, squirrels, snakes and other assorted wild animals seems to have had some impact on school performance.

I hope you don't mind me asking, how exactly was the county ranking done? Kiambu has Alliance, Maryhill Girls, Loreto, Mangu, Alliance Girls & Limuru Girls in the top 100 schools nationally but not a single school from Samburu and very few from the other top counties. Just trying to understand how they made it to the top.....ama ni Kimemia anajaribu kucheza na akili zetu! Do they consider number of schools registered in the counties!
