That was one of the saddest day in my life.As a small boy I was fanatical about AFC and the defeat affected me adversely.I could not take dinner that evening and was taken ill for a few days.

AFC had been used to thoroughly dominating the CECAFA cup largely thanks to Abbas

So that Khartoum event was a bitter pill.

Unfortunately when a Kenya player shines, the Tanzanian vultures start to hover around.

Now they want to sign Olunga.

No Kenyan ever prospers in the Tanzanian league. Tanzanian teams are better funded than the Kenyan teams. There should be more money in Kenya football than Tanzania or else Kenya will continue to let them ruin Kenyan players and sometimes refuse to pay them as was the case with Boniface Ambani.

A country cannot excel in football if it sends its best players to a lower quality league. At the same time you cannot fault a player for wanting to pursue a higher salary. Thats why its important for Kenyans to support local football and local clubs.

We topped our pool and are now in the qtr finals. And this was even after squad rotation. Blackberry had a whale of a game.

Bring on the Ethiopians.

They should add a third then rest Olunga.

2-1 Final score...The lads should be more clinical and avoid wasting chances.
