I have seen Bashir and Kiir together and am worried. Bashir is offering to help secure the oil fields from Rebels. How can Bashir pretend to have the interest of South Sudan at heart, seriously?

Anything right now for Kirr to isolate Riek... Maybe Riek thought his good friend Bashir would lend him a hand.. but it seems with the power of incumbency Kiir is edging him out on every possible friend..
Nobody wants the war.. neither the Western powers nor China.. they have learnt to find a common ground when their interests are threatened..

This is no time to start wars in SS.. i honestly feel Riek should stop his rebel ways.. If not he should be done away with.. the national cake is not even yet cooked and he was already making noise..

Agreed. The elections are not too far off he should wait and beat Kiir at the ballot, not causing all the bloodshed.

The negotiators in Addis for each side are like 20. Will they ever agree.

Depends. If you lock them up in a hotel with all amenities and minimize contact with outside world (recall Dayton peace accords to end the 45-month Bosnian war?), it is possible.
