Hey guys, so I'm back for more advise.
Remember the job that I quit a few months ago? Well, my former boss is head hunting me (No, not the evil one who made me quit).
I just received a call that they want me back on new terms. What do you guys think? Is it ever a good idea to go back to an old job? I'm all kinds of confused.

Hey...cant you think for yourself for once. next time you will be here asking ask how you should get laid now that you have just gotten married. Bure kabisa.

Monday morning matusi ya nini?
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

@Vallerrie, do you watch football? You look a team called Chelsea? Look them up in the log table, you'll understand why you should never reunite with an ex Laughing out loudly

But on a serious note, I personally would not go back for money. But maybe to head a new project or division but completely away from the irritant former boss!

Its like you don't ask Questions.
Not Surprised though
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

if you got a job -a good job let say one month ago and then you get invited for another interview ..is there need to attend it?

I see 3 options:
1. Attend the interview. You will have to convince them that you will not be looking for another job 1 month down the line. You could reject the offer after winning the interview, but this could complicate your future chances with the organisation if not handled with kid’s gloves
2. Send them a regret letter, indicating that circumstances have changed and you are unable to take the job at this time but still interested in working for them in future
3. Ignore the interview. With this option, you will have to forget working for that organisation in the near future.

Good advice so far.

One more thing: please resign in a good way. It won't hurt to leave your bridges standing. Who knows, you might come back later (I'm saying might) on a bigger grade!!

I have resigned from jobs four times. You should have seen the reaction of my family and friends. I used to tell them i know what i am doing but they would not believe it. They would laugh at me and sneer when i was down between jobs but deep down i used to know i am right and God always seemed to work out some magic and i would end up in a better paying job and more work satisfaction and that would shut them fast enough. What i am trying to say is that it's your life you are the one living it nobody else, then why should you allow others to make it unhappy, it's already difficult enough. Always follow your heart the money will follow.
Also never go back its like divorcccing a bad spouse then going back to them, you will never leave, never grow ,never know your true potential and will always wonder what if.............

Do your homework on the health of the company that dumped you before you entertain interest.
What has taken place since you left.

If you are going to flirt with a former company, make sure it's offering something that will improve your life.

On the other hand, don't overvalue workplace fidelity; no matter how dedicated you are to your work, it's unlikely the company will ever love you back in equal measure.

That's business.
