They say the big players in Kenya are Total, KenolKobil, Shell, OiLibya, Gapco, and National Oil

Quote:
Anglo-Dutch giant Shell early this year concluded a $1 billion divestiture deal from its 21 markets in Africa....

Shell will retain a 20 per cent stake in the fuel business and 50 per cent stake in lubricants in a joint venture with private equity firm Helios and international oil trader Vitol...

Still, Kenya’s petroleum market remains dominated by foreign capital because local firms are unable to raise resources for acquisition...

Departures have often only strengthened the position of international oil firms already in the market, even as the state-owned National Oil Corporation of Kenya stakes a claim to a larger market share....

Shell is exiting from all African operating markets — except Egypt and South Africa...

And then there were 5...

"The problem is not what we don't know... it's what we know for sure that just ain't!" - MARK TWAIN
"Space we can recover... time never!" - NAPOLEON BONAPARTE

I prefer the foreign firms vs the 'local' scam artists like Prisko & NOCK who can get away 100% with corruption & impunity!

@trizer. Know the saying, If the fire is too hot stay out of the kitchen. Selling is always the hard part. Have you achieved your target? If yes sell, if not re-evaluate and consider. or follow qw's advice at your own discretion. I forsee heavy supply at 11.50 if we get there. If we get past that. There's this tupac song called, the lord knows.
