Just got a tweet from KTNKenya. Yagnesh Devani arrested in London for extradition to Kenya over Ksh 7.6 billion Triton fraud.
What does this portend for KK, not in the immediate term, but soon??

What does this portend for KK, not in the immediate term, but soon?? Okemo & Gichuru are now definately in deeper shit. As for KK, Total, Oil Libya & Shell, they are now being fought from all sides. From one end the smaller oil marketers & other paper oil importers who they put in shit with their public proclamations & corporate espionage & on the other end a govt & a legislature afraid of an 'unga' revolution caused by the high oil prices & are desperately looking for someone to blame. Many people would not love Devani's extradition as he can toboa alot on the happenings and by many people i mean some of the oil marketers too. I hope devani sings like a bird about to be slaughtered. I want him to tell us about the corrupt folks in the oil sector. He might be killed if he comes to Kenya. What does this portend for KK, not in the immediate term, but soon?? This is Kenya. Devani is just coming for judicial cleansing from the court so that he can be a free man like Patni. BBI will solve it :)

What made me realise that Devani is going to be the fall guy for alot of the things happening is when Ojode said that the Oil problems we are facing are due to 'Improprieties. The political class would love to hang him mainly coz we are in the electioneering period & some of the OMCs would like to hang him more just to show govt's, refinery's, pipeline's & NOCK's inefficiencies. Did you read this? http://www.nation.co.ke/...T/-/2mm5lx/-/index.html
I expect KK will refute the story since it seems the journalist, MoE's & the committee's intention was to blame OMCs like KK who fight for their rights. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

KK is a pioneer = New products, Innovation MoE, KPRL, KPC, NOCK & the Briefcase Dealers = Spreading fear, status quo, corruption, under-performance, stifle fair competition In the meantime good news for KK http://www.businessdaily.../-/128ptw3/-/index.html
Fuel consumption soars, defying high pump pricesOh, this also bodes well for KQ as in increase in tourism + increased flights/passengers [hopefully profitable] Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Got it from a bird that lots of people still think that KK has got hangovers from the Moi era coz of the Total man & these guys seem to still be in control of KK. Major financing advisors of KK are you know which firm & you know who owns the firm Total man's in law. When Uganda starts drilling that's when reality will hit home. So what? He is smart enough to employ smart pple run his Op. About KK in UG, it is my thinking that KK will emerge as the highest margin OMC in the medium to longterm? How? Buy cheaper oils from source (UG) and pipe it to all the storage facilities they are earnestly acquiring all around.

You think the crooks at MoE & the briefcase dealers aka Gulf & trojan will say nice things about the firm that fights the rot in KPC, MoE, KPRL? Which firm OPENLY fought the high charges/losses at KPRL? Which firm blew the whistle on KPC's ullage favoritism? [Sued KPC for fraud/losses] Just like John Githongo was fought by the 'corruption that fights back' these MoE crooks & cronies are trying to beat back KK. Greedy when others are fearful. The Uganda oil is owned by GoU + Tullow (& partners). Total might try to use its heft [why they have not left EAC unlike other oil MNCs like Caltex, etc] to expand their market share. KK will benefit since it is a downstream seller who will buy refined products & use its Regional network to sell, sell, sell... ;-) Greedy when others are fearful. Guys who are going to benefit have already strategically placed themselves in UG and KK is not one of them. Can't remember the name of the company that had bought rights of drilling the oil but thats a start and they also act as an OMC. My question is how has kk placed itself strategically in UG.
