If HF had the same number of shares as Coop, at current valuation, a share of HF would be going at:

19.4 ÷ 109.9 × 11 = Kshs. 1.94/=

I thought hiyo ni straightforward maths hapa.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

The stock exchange is a weird place, fun but weird

Obiero, Obiero, Obiero!!!

Seriously!!?? This is a new low!!

You are not new to these things!! You cannot compare share prices like that unless the two companies have the same number of issued shares!! Jameni!!! One company might have 10 shares and the other one 10 billion shares! Compare market cap.

HF has a market cap of 19.4 Billion. Coop has a market cap of 109.9 Billion!!

HF has 1.89 Billion outstanding shares. Coop has 5.8 Billion outstanding shares!

The comparison you are making here is null and void ab initio!!

You are not even comparing apples to oranges! You are comparing apples to the snake that told Eve to eat the apple!! Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

You remind me of Anyang Nyong'o complaining bitterly that Safaricom was being sold "cheaply at only 5/=", totally ignoring the number of issued shares!!!

Hehe. I was waiting for your comment. What would we do without your enduring wisdom. We are nothing without you. Keep teaching teacher. Meanwhile, what would make any rational investor at prevailing rates, purchase HF in comparison to COOP given the matters you highlight

Politicians alignment.
Politicians have bought a major stake in HF as compared to Coop

Slight bump on the road to glory. COOP previously dominated this scene
