its bn at the back of my mind for awhile. These light weight stocks fly faster than a f16 jet

Dividend or not, lets go back a few years...

In 2007, Olympia Capital had a market capitalisation of 350 Million. Matu Wamae, the Group chief executive, "vowed" it would be in the region of 2 billion in 3 years time (2010)

Get back into your time travel machine and set 2012 as the year. The market capitalisation is now at 150 million!

Wow. We've crossed the proverbial 3500.

However no one can still answer the question. Has the market bottomed out. QW, deal are tight lipped on the NSE.

this market rally caught me unawares . even though i know where to look for bottoming signs ( @ 3000 psychological mark) buying big time saw another risk i couldn't take .
those who bought as it was goin' down are surely ripping big .

@Hisah, maybe a could add some............
4) When the market is forced to open late or
close early because of a "technical error in
the ATS"

- This happened in Jan 2009!
5) When brokers take it upon themselves to call
their clients/emailing them buy proposals of
some specific stocks and urging them to take
the plunge citing IT'S TIME TO BUY!
6) When a day passes and not a single thread or
post has been made here in Wazua!
7) When u visit the brokers office and you are
the only client.
- I saw this in Oct 2008 and Mar 2009 when the
index sank to 3,300 and 2,300 respectively!

N.S.E Today
The Nairobi Securities Exchange apparently went down at 12.42.27 as per My Web Site's Live Feed http://www.rich.co.ke . My Dealer Friend who resides on the 6th Floor at Renaissance says There was a Power Cut in the Central Business District at exactly that Time and Trading therefore was suspended at that time. In the absence of the Closing Data, I am sure we have closed at a Fresh 2012 and 8 month closing
High.
