Sad Pale Twitter everyone is crying, from getting 64 units for a 1000 to getting 45 units, power just became unaffordable for most, I see many small businesses closing down, power consumption to go down, just like the car import duty tax, Kenyans just imported less cars, the peak demand will go down

To prevents activists [Omtata] running to court to stop new energy rates, ERC had this covered by running mock public participation forums around the country (and promptly ignoring public views). The consumer representative, COFEK, was already compromised and was rooting for Kenya Power.
