So it was you guys? Skyscraper is now dead no longer a forum for project discussion rather a picture sharing forum with cheerleaders and bully gossips. Anyway, I show up and post however I want and your bullying doesn't stop me.

I was not one of the bully gossips but each neighborhood has its standardssmile smile . I love skyscraper it has many progressive ideas on real estate and urban landscape. Politics is least tolerated only development conscious ideas are entertained.

I like the freedom in Wazua lately. Members should not be forced to think in a certain way or post only certain stuff.
This I agree with wazua but remember how toxic stockskenya was during 2007 elections. It had to be re-branded into wazua. After the re-brand wazua became a posh forum with separation of sections. Quality of posts also matters in bringing credibility to a forum. I know my pals in the corporate world who used to be scared stiff when wazua discussed their companies.

What's special with Ndii's arrest anyway? Let the cops do their job, any one is free tho to talk about it and express their opinion
What's special about Ndii's arrest is that he is a public intellectual like most of us on wazua. When intellectuals are intimidated then wise men shut up-fools rush in. @masukuma had put a nice video of what happens when the wise shut up.

Ati kii? I thought the fella is a mere mortal like all of us? So you mean to say criminal or deviant intellectuals must not be arrested?

He's just an ordinary fella, but with a twisted mind and a dark heart. I like how the Late Governor described his 'voo doo' economics and endless, bitter dishonest rants.

They are probably browsing through article 1. I think it allows for bail no matter what the crime may be.smile

Madam Admin,

If this was 5 years ago, there could be Wazuans who would be looking at Ndii's arrest as a piece of a giant jigsaw puzzle that most Kenyans cannot and will never see. They would be driving the conversation trying to figure out where the piece belongs in the big scheme of things.

Make no mistake, the occasional ignoramus would crash the party, loud and uncultured, and the wise men would pull back. He (the ignoramus) would not even see the jigsaw puzzle let alone know where to place the puzzling piece. His grasp of issues was/is always karumaindo-ish. And he would claw back quietly to the dark hole of ignorance he came from.

And that is how wazua became the Runda of internet forums. When one of those "downtown" forums was closed, their members could not fit in here.

Now the wise men went quiet. And the "karumaindo" gang drives the conversations.

As auditors, we have a standard called ISA 570. It requires the auditor to assess the ability of an entity to continue operating as a going concern.

This is Hubris.

I have never claimed to be a wise man. But we have had contributors in wazua who always left me in awe. Guys who would always give a perspective that we can never read in newspapers.

@masukuma's thoughts on culture are in a class of their own. I once took a serious client for lunch and the discussion went to matters of culture. I "borrowed" and shared @masukuma's material with him and that old man has never looked at me the same way. He has invited me severally to join his social circle.

Right now we know Ndii was arrested. I would want to read whether the ODPP can realistically bring a solid case against him. Not the political theatrics.

We have so many questions. Does it mean the govt is worried about the people's assembly ? If not, what message was the govt sending by arresting him. Who was the message intended for ? And so many more.

We used to get answers to such questions before. And very illuminating perspectives. Not any more.

I am meeting a couple of guys in the afternoon. When Ndii's matter comes up for discussion, all I have is @harrydre's Karumaindo opinion.

Calling @harrydre's input karumaindoish is exactly the kind of hubris Amores is referring to. You have appointed yourself the judge of other people's opinions, in effect decreeing what has weight and what doesn't without countering or dissecting the substance of the argument. Its cleverly crafted, dog-whistle invective reeking of pretentious standoffishness.

He can go and sit on a pin.

My views...Ndii is not interested in secession. He is a strategist and he has political ambitions.. He has seen beyond Uhuru Kenyatta regime.

We don't know what he has said or done in order to be arrested....but he must have been aware the NIS were following his every move. Through these arrests and the so called 'persecution' his Brand becomes more known.

After 2022.... He will come out forcefully against the Ruto Admin and bring the agikuyu and luo nations together like Kibaki did.... History repeating itself...an economist will become president again...replacing a kalenjin in 2027 or 2032...hoping baba will say Tosha again.... Talk of strategy...lol

Applause Applause Applause Applause Applause Applause Applause This is a perspective I like. It doesn't have to be true. But the thought process behind it is worth commendation.

@@ Liv, wacha ndoto. Ndii can't unite sh*t, heck, he couldn't even articulate NRM manifesto. See what's happening huko NRM na small viti za mbunge and Senate mpaka other voting blocks in NRM are complaining( interesting @FRM has not told us what cooking, he is just lecturing us about quality of posts) See what happened to Kina Keeter, ama anaitwa nani that Kaleyo who was ejected from an ODM meeting for saying Raila should not run? Huko kuna wenyewe bana.
I am happy
