If our armed forces operate tactlessly like those cops that were shooting aimlessly then they are in for a very tough time in Somalia.

As I stated above, our cops are in dire need of more resources and life insurance cover but perhaps they also need to be re-trained.

From the news the first batch of cops in buru were just the guys in patrol like those who have been caught of guard at those border post....i think some cops were abducted a few months ago. Its my hope that the army to somali is like the special squad that used 2 minutes to flush out the idiot, thats why am optimistic that the result will be there to be seen

Exactly the point, in no country do we have all the cops trained to deal with special situations!!!!

Reminds me of the famous North Hollywood Shootout that pitted the entire LAPD against 2 thugs for over 40min. Well trained indeed! THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS.

@McDoba et all

North Hollywood is exactly what we are talking about. It doesn't help our cops to tell them they did a great job when the pics show otherwise.

I was watching that North Hollywood event live and I can assure you, if those two came here, we would have a massacre bar none if we have cops behaving as is recorded.

Praising mediocrity is dangerous to the very cops we wish to give better options to curtail these thugs. We need them to be better trained to execute their duties. Not heaping false praises.

Reminds me of the first kstreet gal I met who praised my game so much but in the end gave me the clap...Sad

The difference between a civilized society and one doomed to failure is that one notices mistakes and fixes them while another notices mistakes and thanks God for saving them.

To help our cops lets fix this problem as the California gov't did. By properly arming cops and giving them better training.

Otherwise, I fear what's going to happen if the 6 GSU guys ever decide to turn rogue.Pray Pray

Jose: If I make it through this thug life, I'll see you one day. The Lord is the only way to stop the hurt.

What I saw? Excited cops, zelous cops, eager cops, hungry hyaenas agitating for the prey no matter what. What I concluded? Thats why I havent seen an armed gangster being arrested. Thats what I saw n I loved it!! A Kenyan cop gets u with a gun unakuwa kichungi mara hio hio. Thats what I saw, or I chose to see.

Comparatively...the level of sophitication of that carlifonoa case and our case.... the result is the same...of course a carlifonian thug will be better equiped than an eastlando gangster!!!

....the cops were very disorganized . For a moment it reminded me of a play station game.. Infact in the absence of the gsu fellas, i would not hv bn surprised if grenades were used to deal with the gun man.

What if the guy was made to sing out his comrades names, locations etc before being killed? If he had to die that is?

Why would anyone work so hard to quickly kill off his cornered, terrified and already pliable lead into the underground? Something is not right here.

The guy was in a singing mood already. Someone did not want him to. His colleagues and networks are still alive and breathing, plotting to harm the innocent as usual.

The police did not act wise or clever for the greater good and for the long term. They merely acted strong for themselves. And 'acted' is a weighty word in this case.
