On Updates: KK will continue giving regular updates to the public in a timely manner as and when important developments occur. Verdict: Expect an update this week or early next week. This could come with the H1 results. The volume on the demand side remain high. It is obvious some major announcement is on the way.

Either hold on a receive a 17 bob payment (according to analysts) or sell at 16, bear the buying commissions but invest in stocks with upside potential. What if it's not 17.00? There is consensus among analysts that KES 17 is the fair value of KK. However, Puma is expected to pay a premium in taking over this gem from us. Asking for a discount is highly unlikely and unacceptable.

Let's hope the useless PS at MoE who has been behind many of the problems facing the Energy Sector in Kenya is not delaying the process. The useless fool claimed they were never told about Puma's takeover of BP Zambia. 1) What relevance is Zambia to Kenya's MoE? Zambia is supplied through SA & Tanzania. 2) The Puma/BP deal was in the news with regular updates through LuSE so why doesn't the useless fool contact LuSE? Greedy when others are fearful. I do not think the MoE is the one delaying this deal. Knowing the CEO of KK as a guy who makes a lot of noise and does not fear the fights, he will come out like a furnace..

MoE can frustrate the deal. The CEO is (technically) running the business not the seller/buyer. I am basing my observation on what the PS said [I can't find the clip] to the Parliamentary Committee that: 1) MoE did not know about Puma/BP until it was in the papers - implied that Puma/KK were hiding the deal. This makes no sense since Zambia's fuel market does not have much of a connection to Kenya! 2) MoE will conduct its own Due Diligence! Greedy when others are fearful. It should take as long as possible, infact i will not mind if the whole thing is given a contempt card and these guys take off. We are just kept in the dark and we do not know what is going on behind the closed curtains and the expect us to just say yes. Not Bgl. I have decided that i will not be selling to Puma. Warren Buffet: Buy shares at a price & in a firm that you will comfy holding for 10 years (if the Stock Exchange) shut down... And KK is one of those. At 16/-, if the NSE 'suspended' it for 10 years... I would be a-OK as long as JS & his team perform! Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
