Ngunze has been overseeing a massive rot in this Company. I am very relieved that he is exiting and a very strong manager taking over. Whoever appointed Ngunze to that position made a very big mistake. It will take sometime to fully put this Airline back on track. No competitive advantage at it's disposal anymore.

By the way with the reduction of the loss, there is no impact at all. KQ is even now in a worse state considering the fact that key assets that could have been used to generate income in the near future were offloaded, some at throw away prices.
The reduction in the loss was only occassioned by the cosmetic changes i.e. unsustainable cost cutting measures rather than addressing the underlying problems.

On the contrary, these results are good. Its not just the asset sale only, there has been efficient measures taken to curb spiralling expenditure. The corruption loopholes has been addressed. All these due to effect of Michael Joseph. What is needed now is some cash injection and the airline will be back into profitability immediately. Towards the goal of financial freedom

Indeed. I would not be surprised by a H1 profit. No one here was expecting a profit for the full year.. Maybe @spikes only COOP, IMH, KEGN, KQ, MTNU

Even before MJ initiatives were ongoing and the successful guys have been awarded trips to some of the KQ destinations...Probably his full impact will be felt this year... possunt quia posse videntur
