This I found interesting I rem saying on this forum that KQ staff some years back were to get scom lines (modem plus mobile) but airtel guys did a number on MJ and the mobile contract went to airtel,if am not wrong TN was made Airtle kenya Chairman after retirement from the airline...fast forward to 2017 airtel is being booted...Scom is coming in with Huawei phones...Kq still owes airtel 30 m plus...so airtel has refused number porting to take place till the debt is cleared... possunt quia posse videntur

MJ is in Vodafone's board and he must bring in business for Scom. I suspect Naikuni's deal with Airtel was a hotbed of kickbacks. He was appointed to Airtel's board partly due to this MVNO deal with KQ. This shell of an Airline called KQ will never recover. There are so many competing interests.These are some of the deals that Ngunze is being retained to seal. A CEO with robust aviation management experience will not commit an Airline's funds to such deals but instead will direct all the resources to improving the product.
