Indeed.. This is the problem of an African mind.. Once closed, it's closed for life, can't see sense even if it was staring at him/her right in the eye.. Same people who applaud bank downsizing not realising that the retrenchees used to form part of the consumer base for products in other firms.. The forex earned by the airline contributes significantly to dollar reserve for Kenya, the tourism as well as hotel industry also tags along, assuming that Ethiopian will match the frequency offered by a collapsed KQ out of JKIA, borders on insanity

KQ can be declared bankrupt and a new KQ can rise without the baggage of debt like United, Delta and other airlines have done. KQ had been giving away forex with those huge losses. The end game is known. I speak in code.

When did drop back to sub-5 level? I admit I don't bother with KQ much anymore but to needle @Obiero.
What was KQ trading at 1 day before MJ as anointed as (Executive) Chairman?

The PR department at KQ finally alive and well.. Someone unfortunately died on a KQ plane yesterday but the same didn't get headline attention as per usual detractors
