@kiash it's a big turning point when someone realises that there's nothing at all supernatural about what holy leaders do. One atheist who was a former altar boy told me he realised something was amiss when he saw behind the curtain. "Holy Water" ni maji ya tap, Eucharist just a wafer, nothing magical happens when your open the tabernacle, etc. Keep questioning.

John the Baptist, baptised Jesus Christ kwa maji ya lake, where many more had come before Him. Must have been dirty and muddy. If you expect water used in Church to be fancy, or anything else for that matter, si utangoja! Faith is what separates believers from no-believers. Belief. Supernatural stuff ie Gifts of the Holy Spirit or demonic works don't show up on demand.

Of late they are even selling plots to their flock at very afffordable rates. In short using the land to meet basic needs of humanity. Quote:Friday November 27, 2015 - Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader, Raila Odinga, was on Thursday spotted drinking heavily at Nairobi West hours after attending Pope Francis’ sermon at University of Nairobi grounds. Raila, who was accompanied by Siaya Senator, James Orengo, was busted by snoops enjoying single malt Scotch Glenfiddich. A source said Raila Odinga went to the pub to relax after his efforts to greet the Pope at UoN were thwarted by his no nonsense bodyguards. Raila, who was accompanied by CORD principals, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula, went to the mass at UoN hoping that the Pope will recognise him because he is the Leader of Opposition in Kenya but when the Pope finished his sermon, he headed straight to St Mary’s School where he met religious leaders before heading to UNEP. The Pope’s move incensed the Opposition Leader who went straight to Nairobi West to cool off by taking a few shots of scotch. Here are photos of Raila Odinga

Hundreds of yrs from now the catholic church will still be in existence (if Jesus wouldn't have come) and they will be building schools, hospitals and other institutions on that land for the benefit of our progeny. Meanwhile by then all govt land would have been grabbed, even parliament itself, by selfish and short sighted individuals, and it won't even have a kaplot to put up a school for the citizens.

Ok, never thought of it that way, if they are the good guys to be entrusted with land then that's fine.

He was quite hsrsh on the guy at 0.04 I have a friend who literally worships this guy. When Pope was around, he slept at the UoN grounds and when i joked about the whole thin, he didn't take it lightly. He should watch this clip.
