If those women (with hired babies on their backs) who are always asking for "bus fare to kinoo" are regarded as conmen, then this woman is also a conman since she deceives the public to give her money.

How does the above statement help us?

I don't know...

If you want to be helped, then how different are you, from the woman?

1. I'm a man
2. I'm not Asian.
3. I don't have a toyota passo

I think a con is a transaction that you make or accept to participate in believing that you will gain something out of it only to end up with a loss.

If a person uses a trick to increase the odds of getting sympathy while begging, then that isn't a con. It is enhanced begging.

Hehehe.

What if the woman just wants attention and impressions of being cared for?

But we're always in a hurry, too much afraid of relating with others, that a trick has to be devised?

I saw her near the Shell in Westlands on Monday. This old woman has been at this since I was a teenager many many years ago...she used to operate solely in Parklands but has now widened her sphere of influence...

Sisi watu wa ocha ndio tunakua conned....life is not fair....We have struggled to make it to the big city only to be conned by an Asian lady....The only mistake is that the lady never came to con people in our shags otherwise, we would have known about her ages ago like Kularaha

@Tycho don't you think you are relating TO the woman by thinking that she needs attention and impression of being cared for(what you could be looking for) instead of relating WITH her?

By asking 'what if' I set myself on a path of investigation that probably leads to relating with the woman.

Relating to is objectifying, relating with 'subjectifying'. How does one bridge these two inevitable states?

I need to school you on the meaning of the word conman. The lady is a con.

con man
ˈkɒn man/
noun: conman
a man or woman who cheats or tricks someone by gaining their trust and persuading them to believe something that is not true.

Okay... so in this case, what untruth does the woman make you/anyone believe?

if your "what if" was open ended then you could have related with her but it was closed meaning you wanted to relate to her
