I think a con is a transaction that you make or accept to participate in believing that you will gain something out of it only to end up with a loss. If a person uses a trick to increase the odds of getting sympathy while begging, then that isn't a con. It is enhanced begging.

By asking 'what if' I set myself on a path of investigation that probably leads to relating with the woman. Relating to is objectifying, relating with 'subjectifying'. How does one bridge these two inevitable states?
