If what happened yesterday was fiction in a book titled
The ill-fated flight, Mr Katabaruga , my Literature in English teacher who taught me many years back would have told me that the crash was symbolic. He would have told me that it epitomized God’s rejection of the money that was to be fundraised. He would also have told me that it was a warning for Caesar to keep off children of God. The Clergy at the same time should also evaluate their involvement with politicians. If this is not heeded, then God would continue to be angry. That is what Mr Katabaruga would have analyzed the situation, in the novel,
The ill fated flight, not me.
@Magigi - one Mr. Munungi Musee would have analysed it much the same way - if it were a literature book. And IMHO, nothing could be further from the poetic truth. In life we are taught many lessons that we often choose to ignore. The church needs to look and learn - nowadays they don't care where your money is from. Jesus, should he come back today will probably start by 'clearing out His Father's house' which today is many cases a den of thieves.
In the final analysis, I have kept wondering why Mr. Saitoti did not use his own chopper - am told he owns one...
Someone else claims that leaders are from God - let me differ - what we have mostly in our country is not leaders but politicians - many of them self serving. If Kenya had leaders, we would be ahead of ALL the so called Asian tiger countries.
RIP Pilots, soliders and politicians - a pair of each.I can't close my post without this line - in 2012/2013 - VOTE WISELY.
